MarketDesk elected a horizontal scalability model at inception. Applying Network Load Balancers (NLB) and hosting a farm of services at any given time guarantees complete scalability. Cloud technology delivers this seamlessly to users. The number of services is adaptable to system demand for a cost-effective and optimized solution.

Redundancy is offered through multiple methods: within a cloud zone, over multiple zones and over regions. Within a zone, MarketDesk utilizes its BlueSky middleware to deliver full-service redundancy and automatic failover.

Within a region, MarketDesk deliberately deploys PODs over multiple zones offering no single point of failure. When a data set is exported to all regions, failover here is similarly ensured.

With the sole exception of user region failover, all other redundancy and recovery features are fully automated and reported to MarketDesk’s proprietary monitoring system.
